Hawaii Security Guard Training Classes
Hawaii Initial Security Guard Training
(ISGT) 8 hours
Hawaii Initial Security Guard Training class is required by 2010 legislation under HRS Section 463-10.5 (Act 208) for training and continuing education to perform in the capacity of a security guard.
Eight (8) hours of classroom training is required for the initial training. Initial security guard training includes passing an exam for the material covered in class. Proof of successful completion of the initial security guard training class is required with application to obtain a security guard registration card (GDE) from the State of Hawaii DCCA Professional & Vocational Licensing office.
Fee: $150.00
Military/Veteran Fee: $140.00 (must present valid ID or DD214)
